Welcome to the AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials course. As an AWS cloud practitioner, your primary responsibility is to oversee your organization’s cloud computing architecture. This includes designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with other IT professionals to ensure the cloud environment operates smoothly, remains secure, and is always available.

This course will equip you with the fundamental concepts of AWS Cloud. It will give you the confidence to contribute to your organization’s cloud programs. This course also serves as a good foundation and starting point towards preparation for the the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, which can be taken in your ouwn time.

In your role as an AWS cloud practitioner, you will have a diverse range of tasks ahead of you. Your duties and responsibilities will encompass managing and maintaining AWS services and infrastructure, developing and optimizing cloud-based applications and services, implementing identity and security measures to safeguard the cloud environment, monitoring system performance, and addressing end-user issues. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions, design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans, act as a liaison between the organization’s business and technical operations, understand AWS design concepts and best practices, analyze and scale workloads, configure virtual private clouds, and troubleshoot any issues that arise in the cloud infrastructure.

According to ITjobswatch, the average annual salary for an entry-level AWS cloud practitioner in the UK is £57,500. However, this figure can vary depending on factors such as the company you work for, your location, and your level of experience.

Upon completing of this course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of the AWS Cloud and the basics of its global infrastructure.
